As much as I know we all work hard and like to get S*** done....

It's important to take a break sometimes, too. This past week I went to the grand canyon with my daughter and 70-something parents. As always, I was blown away by the beauty and breathtaking splendor that is available right in my back yard. Here are a few photos I took using this cool app called TrueHDR (in case you love cool photo apps as much as I do). The bottom photo is this hike we were told to go on where you walk out to a point and get a 260 degree view of the canyon. If you look closely, you can see that the trail to that path is VERY narrow and surrounded by canyon. I got as far as the vantage point in this photo :)

Vacations are nice to take a step back and admire the view...

And it is also important to step back daily and admire the views in front of us. There is beauty everywhere- on the way to work, sitting across from us at the breakfast table, outside on the morning dog walk...

To get a little woo woo, the more we step back and admire and appreciate the things around us and in our lives, the more good things come our way. The more we appreciate where we're at and how perfect, whole and complete we are.

You are so perfect, my friend. I see you and I appreciate you.

I'd love to hear from you- write me back and tell me what you appreciate.

What's beautiful around you? What are you grateful for? What makes you feel good when you look around?
